HOW DO YOU GET THE BEST EYEBROW SHAPE FOR ME?
We will design your brow shape according to facial morphology. Each brow design is unique to the client and their facial features. Brow mapping usually takes around 30 minutes, a photo is taken using a symmetry app for you to approve before we begin.
We will not commence the tattoo process until you are completely happy
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO:
Post-treatment care determines your treatment success!
Please read and follow instructions carefully, because if you don’t, you can lose excessive amounts of the pigment.
Inserted pigment is darker during the first 7 days, it is normal for it to fade about 30-40%.
If you think the pigment is too dark, do not try to fade it yourself, be patient and first wait for 7 days until it loses intensity naturally.
Healing is complete at 28 days.
What you see at this time is a true representation of how they should stay. Please remember cosmetic tattoo is a TWO-STEP process.
A perfection visit is scheduled at 4-6 weeks after your first visit and is essential for a complete treatment.
Any loss of pigment, patchiness or missing strokes is normal but should be very minimal. If this occurs, we will make the correction at the Perfection Visit.
Contact your therapist if you have any concerns during the healing stages.
First 24 Hours Gently pat the area with a damp cotton pad or water wipe to remove any excess lymph (clear fluid). Repeat this process every hour for 3-4 hours to prevent the formation of scabs.
First 7 Days There should be no after pain, only a slight tenderness around the treated area. Never touch the treated area with unwashed fingers.
Apply the aftercare 1-2 times daily with a cotton tip wiping off any old balm first before reapplying.
Do not wet the area more than necessary, the inserted pigment will wash away.
Avoid exercises or activities that may cause excessive sweating. This will dilute the pigment and increase chance of infection. No swimming, spas, saunas or excessively hot showers. Even cooking over a steamy stove for a long period of time.
Do no pick or scratch the flaking. This will pull chunks of pigment off.
No makeup near the treated area. Powders and brushes are full of bacteria.
Strictly no other creams, cleansers or oils near the area as this can remove pigment and could change the pigment tone.
Keep out of the sun.
No chemical peels, microdermabrasion or light (laser) therapy near the eyebrow area.
No skin care that contains Vitamin A, bleach or acids as this will strip the colour.
You cannot donate blood for 4 months following any cosmetic tattoo procedure. This is a world-wide health regulation.

A Perfection Visit needs to be performed at 4-8 weeks to finalise the new tattoo. Appointments made after this time are charged as a Touch Up. Repetitive touch ups will result in your brows looking like a solid tattoo. If that is your preferred look than a powder brow is better for you. If your goal is to see a feathered look then allow your brows to fade a minimum of 50% before rebooking. Your tattoo should last 12-24 months, filling them in as they fade out is to be expected. A Faded tattoo allow for a more realistic, fresh and crisp result. Your skin undergoes trauma with each unnecessary visit. If you are unsure, you need a touch up, please SMS us a photo of your current tattoo and we would be happy to let you know our professional opinion.
Please note a touch up is of my own work.
Another artist work will be charged at full price due to brow mapping and colour correction.
Two appointments are necessary to implant the correct amount of pigment for long-lasting brows. In the first appointment, a shape is established, colours are selected and pigment is inserted. Each client responds differently throughout the treatment and during the healing process. It is impossible to expect same results from every client. Some clients may bleed more than others and some may have thinner skin than others. We work according with an end point in mind to keep the integrity of your skin intact as priority. This may mean some work may need less passes or strokes to be added at a later stage. The second appointment is to reinforce the pigment and to fill any areas where colour did not take as well, adjust the colour (if necessary) or fix any symmetry that you may be concerned about. As the name suggests, we perfect the areas needing attention.

Have You Lost Your Lip Definition? Are You Sick Of Applying Lipstick?

How Do I Know You Will Select the Best Lip Shape For Me?
We will design your lip shape according to your vermillion border, you cannot go outside of this and will cause long-term complications such as pigment migration.

Can I Select a Colour For My New Lips?
We will select a pigment that is flattering for your complexion and existing lip colour. You are welcome to suggest a shade or bring in your favourite lip shade for us to match. A sample of the colour is provided for you to approve before we begin. Please note that colour theory can be complicated, some modifiers may need to be used to correct your natural lip tone first.

I Have an Old Lip Tattoo, Can You Go Over It?
Please notify us if you have a previous cosmetic tattoo visible in the lip area. Many older cosmetic tattoos (8+ years) were created with pigments that hold heavy metals such as Titanium Dioxide that don’t break down. Some of these pigments will never fade, change colour over time and migrate outside the lip area. It is common to see asymmetrical or patchy work as a result of under-skilled technicians. Covering them will may not always give the best outcome. If the old tattoo has shown any of these signs, we suggest part or complete removal first. Starting with a clean canvas will allow the artist to achieve the best work possible.

Is There Any Down Time for Cosmetic Tattoo?
A lip tattoo heals very quickly. There is no downtime for a lip tattoo. Your lip will look slightly swollen and HEAVILY pigmented for the first 24-48 hours and will not look like the colour you asked for. Please trust the process! Amanda will have photos on file to show you. On the second and third days, you may experience some chapping and dryness. Some people will experience peeling and flaking but this is usually only noticeable by the client, not by others.
What If I Get Cold Sores?
You can still have your lips tattooed if you suffer from Cold Sores but cannot be in the active state. If you suffer from Cold Sores even if it was only one in your life you will need to see a doctor for a script of anti viral medication.
